Story of Mendez Landscaping Development Corp.
From Edgar Rolando Mendez (owner). Thanks to God 👆🏽I started the business in 2009 at the age of 19. It was just me traveling with a lawnmower in the trunk of my Buick Lasabra all around town. Later on, I was able to afford a big box truck, an F-150 truck, and a trailer, so I started to do more gardening jobs. In 2016 I incorporated the business as Mendez Landscaping Development Corp. In 2016 I noticed there was a need for stormwater management services, so I dedicated to find solutions for flooding issues in New Orleans metro area. We specialize in stormwater management plus we know how to make the landscape beautiful after installing the systems. After 2016 I hired subcontractors and a small crew to work side by side with the company. We now have a Horticulture License, Storm Water Certification from 'EnviroCert International', and currently working on the Green Infrastructure Certification from 'EnviroCert International'. Current year 2025, we are expanding and looking to hire our own team of people as the office crew, managers, and outdoor team members. All Glory To God 🙏🏽.
